Hosted by our students Nikki Rimell and Will Weaving; ‘Live Smart Investigates’ is the latest initiative to come out of our student engagement programme, Live Smart.
The Live Smart programme was created in partnership with students to connect the big sustainability issues the world is facing for the future with the concerns our students have right now. Its core aims are to help students boost their wellbeing, save money and feel connected to their local community while protecting the planet.
In this podcast series we’ll be grilling the experts and conquering the confusion on all the hot topics for sustainability. From getting to the bottom of the net zero carbon lingo, to how to spot greenwashing every time – this is a series not to be missed!
Series one topics include carbon, social prescribing, greenwashing and tech.
With the launch of the podcast, in October Nikki and Will were invited to talk with Kate Clark on BBC Radio Gloucestershire’s Brunch Show, sharing what they learnt from producing the podcast, and the importance of engaging in the local sustainability conversation as students.
