Awards success for sustainability staff and students

The Sustainability Team was pleased to win Outstanding Team at the University of Gloucestershire staff awards at the end of May. Praised for our collaboration, it’s a real pleasure to work with such a range of inspiring colleagues across the University to drive change for sustainability. Success was also enjoyed by some of our sustainability students at the Students Union Gnomies. Congratulations to:
  • Andi Ward – for winning the ‘Green Gnome’ for Sustainability Excellence, for his work as the part-time Sustainability Officer in the Students Union
  • Lauren Farnsworth – for winning Future Plan Intern of the Year for her work on communications with the Sustainability Team
  • The Live Smart Team – for their nomination in Sustainability Excellence for their vital contribution to the Live Smart pilot 
  • Chase Butler (member of the Live Smart Team) – for winning ‘Rising Star’ for her exceptional contribution to University activities as a first year student.
