Travel survey winners announced

Thank you to everyone who completed the recent travel survey and congratulations to our 6 lucky winners!


  • First prize (winner of an Ipad) – Richard Leatherdale based at Pittville
  • Second prize (winner of £100 BaxterStorey voucher) – Lorraine Dixon based at FCH
  • Third Prize (winner of £50 BaxterStorey voucher) – Beatrice Hitchman based at FCH Save & Exit


  • First prize – Peter Hackett whose main study location is Park
  • Second prize – Alex Kiratzi based at Park
  • Third prize – Miles Corbett, based at Oxstalls

The response to the survey was really encouraging with over 3,100 returns and overall response rates of 28% for students and 56% for staff – a big improvement on the 2013 survey with only 5% for students and 40% for staff.

What’s next for the travel survey? 

We’ll be analyzing the results of the survey to inform the University’s new Sustainable Travel Plan which will help us help you travel smarter.
