Miriam Webb recognised as Young Sustainability Talent

We’re proud to share news that Miriam Webb, Sustainability Engagement Manager, has been chosen from hundreds of nominees as one of the ‘30 under 30’ sustainability leaders to watch for 2020, through Edie corporate sustainability.

30 under 30 is a new programme to recognise talented sustainability professionals who are driving change across different sectors and showing promise as the sustainability leaders of the future. This competitive initiative supports professional development through this emerging talent network, run by Edie, the purpose-driven media brand who run the high profile Sustainability Leader Awards that showcase pioneering global companies such as Unilever, IKEA, Co-op and Interface.

Miriam was recognised for leading student experience developments in the university with an evidence-informed strategic approach, connecting the living and learning experience through Live Smart, which is delivered in partnership with students, and supporting curriculum change projects in the LIFT programme. Over the next 12 months, Miriam joins the group and gains free access to high profile conferences, networking events and mentoring opportunities, as well as free membership to the Institute of Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (ICRS).
