Education Innovation Projects

The ‘University Educators for Sustainable Development (UE4SD)’ project led by the University of Gloucestershire from 2013-2016, has featured as a case study in a new publication by the European Expert Network on Economics of Education (EENEE).

The publication entitled ‘Learning from thirty years of experience: case studies in teacher education for sustainability’; features the best practice in Education for Sustainability (EfS) with a focus on how this can be applied by policy makers and educators at a primary and secondary school level.

The UE4SD project brought together experts from 53 organisations across 33 countries to map policy and practice in EfS and develop tools to support the professional development of educators in this area. Find out more on the UE4SD website
