Four awards were made, with presentations by Karen Morgan, Vice Chair of Council, at the LIFT LAB, and at other events in the University Festival period:

Robin Hare, Procurement and Contracts Manager  – Robin led the Power of the Purse initiative that has strengthened the University’s supply chain and achieved significant gains for sustainability, reputation and value for money.

Bill Burford, Academic Subject Leader, Design – Bill has led curriculum change initiatives for sustainability across the Design course group that achieved recognition awards and supported research development in the School.

Professor Frank Chambers, Professor of Physical Geography  – Frank served as UCU representative on sustainability and on Sustainability Committee over many years, as well as contributing highly cited research in the area.

St Paul’s Residents Association – SPRA were recognised for their long-standing partnership work with the University on the FCH Edible Garden, which celebrated its 10 year anniversary in 2018.

Congratulations and warm thanks to all involved in these activities to advance sustainability within the University, with our local communities and across the sector.
